Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed): It is two-year (full-time) teacher training course. This course is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE). D.El.Ed. certified candidates need to clear CTET/TET Exam then can apply for government teacher job in Primary School

D.El.Ed. is a 24 months full-time diploma course which is divided into 4 semesters. Students who have qualified Graduation in any stream from any recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply. The curriculum of D.El.Ed. course is divided into two parts: General course and training field.. They prepare smart and good teachers with a broad knowledge of the subject areas and the latter includes principles for child development, education practice, a study of school pedagogy and the role of a teacher in the grooming of students. These courses have a high demand for careers opportunities as well as school counsellor.and social workers, speech therapists, some school administrators, and other teachers.

Admission to D.El.Ed course will be made as per norms laid down by NCTE and government from time to time. Eligible candidates are sort listed on the basis of merit list because online form registered for applying D.ElEd. course Minimum eligibility for the course is graduation in any stream.
